Construction Phase Services
We provide comprehensive construction phase services to ensure the successful completion of your project. Our subject matter experts are experienced in all phases of construction. Our services include:
Construction Staging and Planning: Temporary wiring and earthing designs, including temporary structures, wire runs, terminations etc. while considering operational and safe working requirements.
Safe Working: Assessment and development of safe working documentation (SWMS, JSEA, & RIM specific requirements) for working on or near HV electrical equipment.
Quality Assurance: We can develop your project specific ITP’s and Check Sheets and undertake site inspections. We can also identify and manage non-conformances along with any required departures.
Testing & Commissioning: Engagement with RIM and electrical operator to develop electrical testing and commissioning plan along with site oversight during execution.

Matthew entered the rail industry in 2012, undertaking diverse roles & building an extensive project portfolio, forging a foundation of technical expertise in railway electrification. His involvement in over 220 km of rail electrification has honed his capability in rail infrastructure planning & conceptualisation, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, O&M. This experience reaches across the diverse electrification systems of Australia & NZ. His pragmatic personality & attention to detail compliments his problem-solving capabilities & drives his investment in providing best for project outcomes.
Michael Robinson | AMIEAust, CEngA, NER
Michael’s rail electrification career began in 2002 as an OHLE designer & drafter. Along his career path Michael has both participated and led OHLE projects of varying scope developing industry leading design expertise. Throughout His career Michael has represented both clients & stakeholders in the public & private sectors. His capabilities founded on this experience include design, 3D modelling, construction staging & planning, QA/QC, testing & commissioning. Michael brings a positive demeanour & voice of reason to his endeavours which is anchor to the OHLE Co. team.
